Though I was quite busy at this port, I was still able to take some photos. Here are some of my favorites (besides, of course, the ones that I included in my last post).
I’ve never seen this method of hanging laundry before, perhaps in Hong Kong, but I can’t remember quite clearly. Has anyone seen the stick out of the window of a high-rise method before? Where?
I wonder if anyone has ever lost articles of clothing using this method.

beautiful photographs!!
Thank you!!
Nice photos! I have never seen anybody hanging their laundry out to dry on a stick like that before. Maybe they put it on while it’s inside and then push it outside?

Thanks! That would make more sense than leaning out the window, but can you imagine pulling these long sticks into your apartment?? In my Tokyo apt, I’d have to open the door to the entrance to make room! ha!
I’ve never seen anyone dry laundry like that! How cool. These are great photos
I know, right? I was really confused when on first glance I saw branches growing out of buildings.
Thanks, Caitlin!
I’m also a fan of food photography- looking forward to seeing some of your photos on your blog!
I love Singapore when I visited with my mom and sister! it was so clean and so much fun to visit each section of the city
Hi Meg! Thanks for stopping by Kizzling Around!
I wished I’d had more time to really look (and snack) at each part of the city, instead of watching to make sure we didn’t lose any passengers- I definitely need to go back.
What was your favorite part?
Hanging laundry off a stick in a high-rise: China. Allllll over China.
Ahhhh makes sense!
Did you do it when you lived in Singapore??
Hey Erica!!!! I’m so glad to have found your blog - love reading your posts and seeing your photos. AH: Singapore! Miss that place. I spent a bit of time there on my way to Paris in 2011. Hoping to stop by there in August during my one month photography tour of Thailand. Hope you have an amazing 2013!
Hi Dakota! Thank you so much for finding me and leaving some notes!
Singapore was a lot of fun, though I didn’t get nearly enough time there. Your photography tour of Thailand sounds amazing! Hope you have a great 2013 as well!

I miss Singapore! I went there in 2009 when I won in a contest. Happy New Year!

I love Singapore because it is great to know more about culture of this wonderful country. This country is shopping paradise and hub for leading MNC’s. This is the best place to visit and also famous for its mouth watering dishes. Nice work Kizzle & good photo clicks!!
